Offered for your consideration is a previously owned OMAS UNICEF Limited Edition Donatella Girombelli fountain pen with box and papers.
Omas Limited Edition DONATELLA GIROMBELLI (GENNY) Unicef Fountain Pen NEWOmas limited edition fountain pen Edition inspired by Genny, the iconic Italian fashion house founded by (Arnoldo and) Donatella Girombelli in 1961. The pens were released in support of UNICEF, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund. OMAS undertook perhaps its most ambitious project in pen design in 1996, when it invited 24 of the most celebrated names in the worlds of art, music, cinema, literature, sports, science and fashion to participate in the creation of this extraordinary pen collection. Design motifs were submitted by such luminaries as Claudio Abbado, Michelangelo Antonioni, Julio Iglesias, Gina Lollobrigida, Egon Von Furstenburg, Christian Barnard and others, and these drawings were transformed into striking pens, each named in honor of the personality who inspired it. The Pen is in great cosmetic condition with some visible signs of wear on the casing from previous ownership. The NIB looks unused and is crafted in 18k white gold.
